About the Role
The Front Desk Coordinator supports patient experience, administrative workflows, and day-to-day operations at the clinic. This role is based at Black Hills Heart and Vascular Care in Rapid City, SD, part of the VIS network of practices.
What You’ll Do
- Check in patients and verify demographics.
- Answer incoming calls and assist visitors.
- Maintain lobby and guest restroom presentation.
- Assist with transportation coordination.
- Monitor front office supplies.
- Perform appointment reminder and follow-up activities.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Support patient service initiatives and communication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer-facing experience in a medical or professional office preferred
- Comfort with scheduling systems and multi-line phones
