Dr. Joe Marion is a North Dakota native, born and raised in Hettinger. He is proud to bring advanced, minimally invasive care back to the communities of North Dakota and western Minnesota.

About Dr. Marion

Dr. Marion earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, before attending medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his integrated diagnostic and interventional radiology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, one of the nation’s premier training programs for image-guided procedural medicine.

Dr. Marion is passionate about offering patients effective alternatives to traditional surgery through minimally invasive, image-guided therapies. His practice focuses on embolization therapies for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and chronic knee, shoulder, and plantar fasciitis pain, along with the diagnosis and management of pelvic venous disorders, symptomatic thyroid nodules, and spine compression fractures.

Dr. Marion is dedicated to bringing this level of specialized, outpatient-based care directly to the people of the Fargo-Moorhead region: reducing recovery times, avoiding unnecessary hospitalization, and helping patients get back to their lives faster.
